Mahshid has a wealth of experience in handling business immigration matters for both employers and employees.
She has advised on and represented clients in relation to applications for Sponsor Licences, Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility, and Global Talent visas. She has extensive experience of supporting employers through the whole range of compliance issues and Home Office audits.
She is a multilingual Solicitor who is Fluent in English, Swedish and Farsi, whilst she is conversational in Italian having studied in Italy.
Mahshid has litigated complex appeals before the First-tier Tribunal (IAC), the Upper Tribunal (IAC), and the Court of Appeal for over 15 years. She has also successfully prepared Judicial Review pro0ceedings before the Upper Tribunal (IAC) and the High Court (Administrative Division).
Mahshid’s deep passion for entrepreneurship led her to successfully work with globally mobile businesspersons and companies, and assisted their businesses navigate the complex immigration landscape. Mahshid’s background has infused her with unique insights into the experiences of immigration clients, which she leverages to deliver a client centric and empathetic service to her clients.
Mahshid is a devoted mother and an active member of her community. She loves travelling and spending time with her children on her spare time.

- Successfully assisting a tech start-up acquire a UK Sponsorship Licence to sponsor highly skilled software engineers from India to join their existing team.
- Assisting a senior employee of a large overseas corporate obtain leave to remain and establish a subsidiary of the overseas corporate in the UK.
- Advising a prominent corporate on the steps they needed to take to comply with the Home Office audit.
- Advised UK businesses in relation to their EEA citizen workers’ right to reside in the UK post-Brexit.
- Successfully represented non-EEA citizen family members of EEA Citizens, who had been unable to register their marriage prior to the relevant date (31.12.2020) due to extenuating circumstances, in their appeals against the Home Office’s refusal of their applications for leave.
- Successfully assisted a Swedish citizen in respect of his application for leave to enter the UK to join his adult daughter on serious medical grounds.
- Successfully assisted a Saudi citizen, who had spent his entire childhood in the UK, in respect of his application for leave on private life and human rights grounds.
- Successfully represented a Turkish citizen (or Kurdish origin) in his appeal against the Secretary of State’s refusal of his application for leave which resulted in the grant of leave on private life grounds.
- Advised Claimants in respect of employment law matters including unfair dismissal, discrimination at work, restrictive covenants and employment contracts.
- Represented clients in relation to unfair dismissal and discrimination claims in the Employment Tribunals.
